Diagnosing Reading Disabilities Prior to RTI

Video | 0 comments

In this video, Dwayne D. Williams talks about how school psychologists and educational team members diagnosed learning disabilities prior to using response to intervention (RTI). He talks about how 50% of students who were referred to special education services were believed to have reading disabilities, and 80% of these students were misdiagnosed as having reading disability.

After watching this video, be sure to view the video where I share my story. My story is very similar to Bobby’s story. The video title is, Why I was retained in the First Grade.
